New for 2026: Growth Curve Modeling for Beginners
New for 2026: Growth Curve Modeling for Beginners
This workshop is designed for academic researchers in the health and behavioral sciences who want to learn how to conduct growth curve modeling with longitudinal panel data.
This workshop is live and fully online and will take place June 2, 3, & 4 from 9:00 am EST to 3:00 pm EST
What is covered:
Longitudinal analyses for panel data to examine changes over time in developmental processes
Multilevel modeling approaches
SEM approachs
Modeling intraindividual change over time combined with interindividual variability in those intraindividual changes
Time invariance covariates
Time varying covariates
Nonlinear models and spline models
Parallel process models
Power analysis and missing data
In the workshop each day there will be a morning lecture presentation on what growth curve models do, how they are modeled, and what results mean. In afternoons we will run analyses using data provided by me and using syntax for both R (lme4 and Lavaan packages) and Mplus. All models are set up so that the Mplus demo version (free to download) will work.
This workshop is designed for beginners and so while some knowledge of topics like correlations, multiple regression, and variance or software programming will be helpful, no advanced knowledge is needed to benefit from this workshop.
Fees are $650 for academic professional and $600 for students
