Dr. Supple is a Professor in the department of Human Development & Family Studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He earned his Ph.D. in HDFS at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and his MS and BA degrees at Arizona State University. Dr. Supple teaches courses on advanced research methods, longitudinal data analysis, and measurement using latent variables.Â
Dr. Supple views advanced quantitative analyses as a "means to an end". That is, rather than focusing exclusively on the "perfect" statistics or relying on dated techniques, Dr. Supple enjoys applying diverse and advanced analyses to generate new and exciting knowledge. His approach to teaching analyses is more conceptual and less focused on statistics.
